Your First Visit
At
your first visit the doctor and clinical
staff perform a periodontal screening, oral
cancer screening, occlusal analysis, head
and neck exam, radiographic exam, blood
pressure screening and tobacco counseling in
addition to the standard dental examination.
Educating the
patient is one of our top priorities at
Atlantic Dentistry. Your oral health status
is explained and illustrated in full view
with digital x-rays and intraoral camera
pictures, with all the options for
rehabilitation discussed with you. All
questions you have regarding treatment will
be fully answered. Most of our patients tell
us that they have never had such a thorough
and modern examination!!
Your teeth
may be cleaned at this visit depending on
your overall oral condition.
For patients
with complex rehabilitation needs, our
Treatment Coordinator meets with you in her
office to coordinate treatment and answer
any financial questions. We have multiple
financing options and our Treatment
Coordinator is happy to help find an option
that works with your budget.
